Since established in Canada after seeking refuge from the Syrian War, the Hadhad family has founded the Peace on Earth Society, a not-for-profit organization funded by up to 5% of sales of their chocolate products. The society work started unofficially after the Fort McMurray Wildfires when Peace by Chocolate launched a donation campaign to support all the evacuees and their families through relief organizations.
